SIDES (with MC)

  • Rounds 5-7: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join. (28, 32, 36 sts)

Fasten off MC.

CUFF (with CC)

  • Round 8: Join CC with sl st in any st. Ch 1, sc in same st and in each st around. Join. (28, 32, 36 sts)
  • Round 9: Ch 1, *puff st in first st, sc in next st*. Repeat from * around, ending with puff st in last st. Join with sl st to top of first puff st. (14 puff sts, 14 sc)

  • Round 11: Repeat Round 9.
  • Round 12: Repeat Round 10.
  • Round 13: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join. Fasten off CC.

FINISHING

Weave in all ends. Fold cuff down gently. Repeat for second bootie.

Optional: Add a simple tie

With CC, ch 50 (55, 60). Fasten off. Weave through Round 8 (the first round of the cuff) to create a drawstring. Tie in a bow.
