Round 34 (Color A): Knit all stitches.

Round 36 (Color A): Knit all stitches.

Separate Thumb

Round 37 (Color A): Knit to first marker, remove marker, place next 9 stitches on a stitch holder or waste yarn (these are the thumb stitches), remove second marker, cast on 1 stitch using the backward loop method, knit to end. (38 stitches)

Hand (continue in Color A)

Rounds 38-42 (Color A): Knit all stitches.

Round 43 (Color B): *K1, Sl1 wyif; repeat from * around.

Round 44 (Color B): *P1, Sl1 wyib; repeat from * around.

Rounds 45-46 (Color A): Knit all stitches.

Round 47 (Color B): *Sl1 wyif, K1; repeat from * around.

Thumb

Transfer the 9 held thumb stitches onto DPNs. With Color A, pick up and knit 3 stitches from the cast-on edge of the thumb opening. (12 stitches). Join to work in the round.

Rounds 1-6: Knit all stitches.

Round 7: *K2tog; repeat from * around. (6 stitches)

Cut yarn, leaving a 6-inch tail. Thread tail through remaining stitches, pull tight, and weave in end.

Finishing
