Crochet Charming Bunny in a Nest Free Pattern

Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight yarn in cream (for the nest) and pink (for the bunny)
• Crochet hook size G/4.0mm
• Stuffing for the bunny
• Tapestry needle

Instructions

Abbreviations

• ch - chain
• sc - single crochet
• st - stitch
• inc - increase (2 sc in one st)
• dec - decrease (sc two stitches together)
• sl st - slip stitch
• FO - finish off

Bunny

1. With pink yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6 sts)
3. Rnd 2: inc in each st around (12 sts)
4. Rnd 3: [sc in next st, inc in next st] around (18 sts)
5. Rnd 4-5: sc in each st around (18 sts)
6. Rnd 6: [sc in next st, dec] around (12 sts) - begin stuffing
7. Rnd 7: dec around (6 sts)
8. FO and weave in ends.

Ears (Make 2)

1. With pink yarn, ch 6.
2. Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across (5 sts), turn.
3. Row 2: sc in each st across (5 sts)
4. FO, leaving a tail for sewing.

Fold ears in half lengthwise and sew onto the top of the bunny’s head.

Nest

1. With cream yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6 sts)
3. Rnd 2: inc in each st around (12 sts)
4. Rnd 3: [sc in next st, inc in next st] around (18 sts)
5. Rnd 4: [sc in next 2 sts, inc in next st] around (24 sts)
6. Rnd 5: sc in the back loop of each st around (24 sts)
7. Rnd 6-7: sc in each st around (24 sts)
8. FO and weave in ends.

Place the bunny inside the nest for display.
