• Crochet thread in light brown, size 10

• Tapestry needle

Gauge:

One flower motif measures approximately 4 inches in diameter.

Abbreviations:

• ch: chain
• sl st: slip stitch
• sc: single crochet
• dc: double crochet
• tr: treble crochet

Instructions:

Flower Motif:

1. Start with a magic ring.
2. Round 1: ch 3 (counts as dc), 15 dc into ring, join with sl st to top of ch-3. (16 dc)
3. Round 2: ch 3, dc in same space, ch 2, *2 dc in next dc, ch 2* repeat around, join with sl st to top of ch-3.
4. Round 3: sl st into next dc, ch 5 (counts as tr), 2 tr in same space, ch 2, *3 tr in next ch-2 space, ch 2* repeat around, join with sl st to top of ch-5.

Connecting Openwork:

1. Join thread in any ch-2 space from a Flower Motif.
2. Round 1: ch 5, sc in next ch-2 space, ch 5, *sc in next ch-2 space, ch 5* repeat around, join with sl st to first sc.
3. Round 2: ch 7, sc in next ch-5 space, *ch 7, sc in next ch-5 space* repeat around, join with sl st to first ch of ch-7.

Assembly:
