Crochet Bright Festive Triangle Bunting Garland Free Pattern

Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple
- Worsted weight yarn in white for joining
- Size H/8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Abbreviations:
- ch: chain
- sc: single crochet
- dc: double crochet
- sl st: slip stitch
Instructions:
Triangle Pattern:
- Start: With your chosen color, ch 2.
- Row 1: Work 2 dc into the second ch from the hook. Turn. (2 dc)
- Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as first dc), 1 dc in the first st, 2 dc in the next st. Turn. (3 dc)
- Row 3: Ch 2, 1 dc in each st across, 2 dc in the last st. Turn. (4 dc)
- Continue in this manner: Increase 1 st at the end of each row by working 2 dc in the last st, until you have 12 dc at the top row.
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
Assembling the Bunting:
- Repeat the triangle pattern to make 9 triangles (1 in each color).
- With white yarn, ch 10 (this will be the tie end) and sl st to the top right corner of the first triangle.
- Ch 1, sc evenly across the top of the triangle, ch 2 in between each triangle, sl st to the next triangle and repeat until all triangles are joined.
- Once all triangles are joined, ch 10 for the other tie end and fasten off.
Finishing:
- Weave in all ends using the tapestry needle.
- Block your bunting to enhance the shape of the triangles, if desired.
