Crochet Colorful Striped Floral Skirt Free Pattern

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in cream, pink, blue, and navy
• Crochet hook size H/8 (5 mm)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• sl st = slip stitch
• sts = stitches
• rep = repeat

Instructions:

Skirt:

1. Waistband:
   • With cream yarn, ch 120 (or desired waist size).
   • Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 2, turn.
   • Row 2: Dc in each sc across, ch 2, turn.
   • Rep Row 2 for 3 more rows.
   • Fasten off and weave in ends.
2. Main Body:
   • Row 1: Join blue yarn, ch 2, dc in each st across, ch 2, turn.
   • Rows 2-4: Rep Row 1 in blue.
   • Rows 5-8: Change to pink and repeat Row 1.
   • Rows 9-12: Change to cream and repeat Row 1.
   • Repeat color sequence: blue, pink, cream, for a total of 12 stripes or until desired length.
3. Edging and Flowers:
   • Join navy yarn at bottom edge.
   • Row 1: Ch 1, sc in each st across.
   • Row 2: Ch 3, dc in the next 2 sts, ch 1, skip next st; rep across, sl st to first ch of ch 3.
   • Flowers:
     • With cream yarn, magic ring, ch 1, 10 sc in ring, sl st to first sc to close.
     • Change to pink, ch 3, dc in each sc around, sl st to top of ch 3.
     • With cream, join in any dc, ch 2, 2 dc in same st, sl st in next dc; rep around for petals.

4. Tie:
   • With cream yarn, ch 150. Fasten off and weave through waistband row.
