Crochet Elegant Bow-Topped Slipper Free Pattern

Materials

  • Medium Weight Yarn (Beige and Pink)
  • Crochet Hook Size H/8 (5 mm)
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry Needle

Instructions

Sole

Make 2 (for each slipper):

  1. With beige yarn, ch 21.
  2. Round 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 18 chs, 6 sc in last ch; continue on the other side of the foundation ch, sc in next 18 chs, 4 sc in last ch; join with sl st to first sc. (48 sts)
  3. Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in first st, sc in next 20 sts, 2 sc in each of the next 6 sts, sc in next 20 sts, 2 sc in each of the last 4 sts; join. (60 sts)
  4. Round 3: Ch 1, sc in each st around; join. (60 sts)
  5. Round 4: Ch 1, sc in each st around; join. Fasten off.

Top and Bow

Using pink yarn:

  1. Ch 25, join with sl st to form a ring. Check width against slipper for size, adjust chain length as necessary.
  2. Row 1: Ch 2 (does not count as hdc), hdc in each ch around; join. (25 sts)
  3. Rows 2-8: Ch 2, hdc in each st around; join. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
  4. Fold the strip accordion-style and sew the folds together to form a bow shape, using the long tail.
  5. Wrap a short piece of yarn tightly around the center of the bow and tie securely.

Finishing

  1. Place the bow on the top of each slipper and sew it securely in place using the tails and a tapestry needle.
  2. Weave in all ends.
