Crochet Elegant Textured Beanie with Blush Pom Pom Free Pattern

Materials Needed

Instructions

Ribbed Brim

1. Using blush pink, ch 10.
2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (9 sc)
3. Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in blo of each st across.
4. Repeat Row 2 until the brim measures approximately 18" or desired circumference.
5. Join ends with sl st to form a circle.

Body of the Hat

1. Switch to cream yarn.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, sc evenly around the edge of the brim, join with sl st.
3. Round 2: Ch 2 (counts as first hdc), hdc in each st around, join with sl st to top of ch 2.
4. Round 3: Ch 1, (sc, dc) in first st, *skip next st, (sc, dc) in next st; repeat from * around, join with sl st.
5. Repeat Round 3 until the hat measures about 7" from the bottom of the brim.
6. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Finishing

1. Thread the yarn tail through the top stitches of the last round and pull tight to close the top of the hat.
2. Sew securely and weave in ends.
3. Create a pom pom using blush pink and attach to the top of the hat.
