Crochet Elegant Textured Yarn Label Organizer

Skill Level: Beginner

Materials Needed:

  • Worsted weight cotton yarn in off-white (approximately 200 yards)
  • Crochet hook size H (5.0 mm)
  • Yarn needle for weaving in ends
  • Scissors

Gauge: 14 stitches x 10 rows = 4 inches in single crochet

Instructions:

Base:

  1. Ch 31 (or any chain length that fits your desired size).
  2. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, and in each ch across. Turn.
  3. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across. Turn.
  4. Rows 3-15: Repeat Row 2 to form the body of the organizer.

Textured Stitch Section:

  1. Row 16: Ch 1, (fpdc, bpdc) across. Turn.
  2. Row 17: Ch 1, (bpdc, fpdc) across. Turn.
  3. Repeat Rows 16-17 for 8 more rows.

Finishing:

  1. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
  2. Using the yarn needle, sew the sides together to create pockets for your yarn labels.
  3. Weave in all loose ends.
