Gauge:

14 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches in pattern.

Finished Size:

Approximately 12 inches x 16 inches.

Abbreviations:

• ch: chain
• sl st: slip stitch
• sc: single crochet
• dc: double crochet

Instructions:

Center Portion (Color B):

1. With Color B, ch 44.
2. Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (43 sc)
3. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Turn.
4. Repeat Row 2 until the piece measures approximately 10 inches. Fasten off Color B.

Border (Color A):

5. Attach Color A in any corner. Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same st. Continue to dc evenly around, working 3 dc in each corner st. Join with sl st to the top of the ch-3.
6. Ch 1, sc in each dc around, working 3 sc in each corner dc. Join with sl st to the first sc.
7. Fasten off and weave in ends.
