Materials:
- 1 ball of bulky weight yarn (approx. 100 yards/90 meters)
- 6 mm (J) crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Tassle maker (optional)
Gauge:
10 double crochets = 4 inches in width.
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- dc = double crochet
- sp = space
- sl st = slip stitch
- tr = treble crochet
Instructions:
Foundation Row:
Ch 28.
Row 1:
Dc in the 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across (26 dc). Turn.
Row 2:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), *dc in next dc, tr in next dc; repeat from * across. Turn.
Row 3:
Ch 1, sc in same st; *ch 1, skip next st, sc in next st; repeat from * across. Turn.
Row 4:
Ch 4, *tr in next sc, ch 1, tr in same sc; repeat from * across. Turn.
Row 5:
Ch 1, sc in first tr, *ch 2, skip next tr, sc in next tr; repeat from * across. Turn.
Rows 6-12:

Final Rows:

Fringe:

Finishing:
