Materials:

• 1 ball of bulky weight yarn (approx. 100 yards/90 meters)
• 6 mm (J) crochet hook
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Tassle maker (optional)

Gauge:

10 double crochets = 4 inches in width.

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• dc = double crochet
• sp = space
• sl st = slip stitch
• tr = treble crochet

Instructions:

Foundation Row:

Ch 28.

Row 1:

Dc in the 4th ch from hook, dc in each ch across (26 dc). Turn.

Row 2:

Ch 3 (counts as first dc), *dc in next dc, tr in next dc; repeat from * across. Turn.

Row 3:

Fringe:

For tassels, cut yarn into 12-inch lengths. Group 4 pieces together and tie them at one end. Attach to each end of the scarf.

Finishing:

Weave in all ends with a tapestry needle.
