Materials Needed:

• Worsted weight #4 yarn in various colors: pink, white, black, brown, yellow, red, and orange
• Crochet hook size 4.5mm
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
• Polyfill stuffing
• Safety eyes (12mm recommended)

General Instructions:

Each puppet is worked in continuous rounds unless stated otherwise. Use a stitch marker to keep track of your rounds. Adjust yarn colors and quantities to match your preference. Gauge is not crucial for this project.

Pig Puppet:

Head:

1. With pink yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Rnd 1: 6 sc into ring (6)
3. Rnd 2: Inc in each st around (12)
4. Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, inc) around (18)
5. Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 sts, inc) around (24)
6. Rnd 5-9: Sc in each st around (24)
7. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Ears (Make 2):

1. With pink yarn, ch 4.
2. Row 1: Starting in the 2nd ch from hook, sc 3, turn (3)
3. Row 2: Sc across, turn (3)
4. Fasten off.

Nose:

1. With pink yarn, make a magic ring.
2. Rnd 1: 6 sc into ring (6)
3. Rnd 2: (Sc in next st, inc) around (9)
4. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Body:

1. With pink yarn, chain 22. Join with sl st to form a loop, being careful not to twist.

Arms (Make 2):

Finishing:
