Crochet Whimsical Hamburger Pillow Amigurumi Free Pattern

Materials Needed

  • Worsted weight yarn in brown, tan, green, red, and yellow
  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • Polyester stuffing
  • Tapestry needle

Abbreviations

  • st(s) - stitch(es)
  • sc - single crochet
  • inc - increase (2 sc in one stitch)
  • dec - decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
  • sl st - slip stitch
  • ch - chain

Bun (Top and Bottom)

With tan yarn:

  1. Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6 sts)
  2. Round 2: inc around (12 sts)
  3. Round 3: (sc, inc) around (18 sts)
  4. Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24 sts)
  5. Continue increasing in this manner until you reach 60 sts. Work 8 rounds even of 60 sts.
  6. Finish off for the bottom bun here.
  7. For the top bun, embroider small 'sesame seeds' using cream yarn. Then finish off.

Cheese Slice

With yellow yarn:

  1. Row 1: ch 16, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (15 sts)
  2. Rows 2-12: ch 1, turn, sc across (15 sts)
  3. Finish off and weave in ends.

Lettuce

With green yarn:

  1. Round 1: ch 60, join with sl st to form a ring
  2. Round 2: ch 1, (3 sc, inc) around, join with sl st
  3. Round 3: ch 1, (2 sc, inc) around, join with sl st
  4. Finish off and weave in ends.

Tomato Slice

With red yarn:

  1. Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6 sts)
  2. Round 2: inc around (12 sts)
  3. Round 3: (sc, inc) around (18 sts)
  4. Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24 sts)
  5. Finish off and weave in ends.

Burger Patty

With brown yarn:

  1. Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6 sts)
  2. Round 2: inc around (12 sts)
  3. Round 3: (sc, inc) around (18 sts)
  4. Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24 sts)
  5. Round 5: (3 sc, inc) around (30 sts)
  6. Finish off and weave in ends.

Assembly

  1. Layer the bun, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and burger patty on top of each other. Use pins to hold each piece in place as you sew them together.
  2. Attach the top bun with stuffing to give it a plush look.
  3. Sew the edges together, hiding any visible yarn ends.
