Crochet Whimsical Twisted Lace Bookmark Free Pattern

Materials:

• Light worsted weight yarn (approximately 50-100 yards)
• Crochet hook (size G/4.0mm)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge: 18 stitches and 10 rows = 4 inches in twisted lace pattern.

Abbreviations:

• ch = chain
• dc = double crochet
• sl st = slip stitch
• tr = triple crochet
• sp = space

Instructions:

1. Make a foundation chain of 24 ch (or desired length).
2. Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, make 1 dc. *Skip next ch, make 1 dc in next ch, dc in skipped ch (creates a twist)*. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row. Turn.
3. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), *make 1 tr in the next dc, dc in the next dc*. Repeat from * to * until the end. Turn.
4. Row 3: Ch 1, *dc in the next tr, make 1 dc in the skipped dc from Row 2*. Repeat from * to * until you reach the end of the row. Turn.
