Materials
- Yarn: Super bulky weight yarn (approximately 900 yards)
- Crochet Hook: Size K (6.5 mm)
- Tapestry Needle: For weaving in ends
- Scissors
Gauge
4 stitches and 5 rows = 4 inches in ribbed pattern.
Abbreviations
- ch: Chain
- sc: Single Crochet
- dc: Double Crochet
- st: Stitch
- rep: Repeat
Instructions
Foundation Chain: Ch 80 (or any even number to achieve your desired width).
Row 1: Dc in the third ch from the hook and in each ch across. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as first dc), *skip one dc, front post double crochet (fpdc) around next dc, dc in skipped dc; rep from * across, end with dc in last st. Turn.
Repeat Rows: Rep Row 2 until the blanket measures approximately 60 inches or your desired length.
Final Row: Ch 1, sc in each st across for a tidy finish.
Finish: Fasten off and weave in ends with a tapestry needle.
Finishing
