Cozy Textured Blanket Pattern
Materials
- Yarn: 1000-1200 yards of bulky weight yarn in a golden yellow color
- Needles: Size 10 mm (US 15) circular knitting needles (32 inches long recommended)
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
12 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch.
Abbreviations
- CO: Cast on
- K: Knit
- P: Purl
- K2tog: Knit two stitches together
- YO: Yarn over
- RS: Right side
- WS: Wrong side
Instructions
- Cast On: CO 100 stitches.
- Row 1 (RS): K2, *P2, K4; repeat from * to end.
- Row 2 (WS): P2, *K2, P4; repeat from * to end.
- Row 3: K2, *P2, K2, YO, K2; repeat from * to end.
- Row 4: P2, *K2, P2, K2; repeat from * to end.
- Row 5: K2, *P2, K4; repeat from * to end.
- Row 6: P2, *K2, P4; repeat from * to end.
- Row 7: K2, *P2, K2, YO, K2; repeat from * to end.
- Row 8: P2, *K2, P2, K2; repeat from * to end.
- Repeat Rows 1-8 until the blanket reaches your desired length, approximately 50-60 inches long.
- Bind Off: Using a stretchy bind-off method, bind off all stitches. Make sure to keep the edge loose for a nice finish.
- Weave in Ends: Use a tapestry needle to weave in any loose ends.
Finishing
