- dc: double crochet
- sc: single crochet
- st: stitch
- rep: repeat
Pattern
Foundation Row
Using cream yarn, ch 188.
Row 1
Starting in the 4th ch from hook, *(3 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st, dc3tog, dc3tog, 3 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st), rep from * to end. Turn.
Row 2
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), *(3 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st, dc3tog, dc3tog, 3 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st), rep from * to end. Change to dark green before last stitch. Turn.
Rows 3-4
Rep Row 2 in dark green.
Rows 5-6
Rep Row 2 in cream.
Rows 7-8
Rep Row 2 in dark green.
Continue alternating colors every two rows following the chevron pattern until the afghan reaches the desired length.
Finishing
Fasten off and weave in ends with the tapestry needle. Block your afghan to square it up if needed.
