Crochet Spiral Coaster

Materials

• Worsted weight cotton yarn in natural color
• Crochet hook size H/5mm
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Instructions

1. Start with a magic ring.
2. Round 1: Ch 1, work 6 sc into the ring. Sl st to the first sc to join. (6 sc)
3. Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around. Sl st to the first sc to join. (12 sc)
4. Round 3: Ch 1, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. Sl st to the first sc to join. (18 sc)
5. Round 4: Ch 1, (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. Sl st to the first sc to join. (24 sc)
6. Round 5: Ch 1, (sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. Sl st to the first sc to join. (30 sc)
7. Round 6: Ch 1, (sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. Sl st to the first sc to join. (36 sc)
8. Round 7: Ch 1, (sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. Sl st to the first sc to join. (42 sc)
9. Fasten off and weave in the ends using the tapestry needle.
10. Block gently with steam if necessary to shape the coaster flat.
