Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn (approximately 200 yards)
- Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Gauge:
12 double crochets and 7 rows = 4 inches in spiraled shell stitch. Adjust hook size as necessary to meet gauge.
Sizes:
This pattern is designed for an adult size beanie. For larger or smaller sizes, simply adjust the number of starting chains in multiples of 6.

Instructions:
1. Chain:
Start with a slip knot and chain 66. Join with a slip stitch to form a ring, being careful not to twist the chain.

5. Finishing:
