Materials

• Bulky weight yarn in mustard color - 1200 yards
• Knitting needles size 10mm (US 15)
• Cable needle
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

4 stitches x 4 rows = 2 inches (5 cm) in stockinette stitch

Abbreviations

• CO - Cast On
• K - Knit
• P - Purl
• C4F - Cable four front (slip two stitches onto cable needle and hold in front, knit two stitches, then knit stitches from cable needle)

Instructions

Blanket Size

Approximately 50 inches by 60 inches

Pattern

1. Cast On: CO 120 stitches.
2. Row 1: K3, (P4, K4) repeat to last 3 stitches, K3.
3. Row 2: K3, (K4, P4) repeat to last 3 stitches, K3.
4. Row 3: Repeat Row 1.
5. Row 4: Repeat Row 2.
6. Row 5: K3, (C4F, P4) repeat to last 3 stitches, K3. This creates the cable pattern.
7. Row 6: Repeat Row 2.
8. Repeat Rows 1-6: Until the blanket measures 60 inches or your desired length.
9. Bind off: Bind off all stitches loosely.

Finishing

Weave in all ends using a tapestry needle. Block the blanket to lay flat and shape it to the desired dimensions.
