Assembly
- Place the two panels with right sides together. Using a tapestry needle and the same yarn, seam the two long edges together, creating a tube. Leave the top and bottom open.
- Turn the tube right side out.
- Bottom: Thread a tapestry needle with a long piece of yarn. Weave the needle through the stitches at the bottom edge of the tube, about 1 inch from the edge. Pull tightly to gather the bottom closed. Secure with a knot and weave in ends.
- Top: Cut 4 strands of yarn, each 40 inches long. Fold each strand in half. Insert the folded loop through the top edge of the tube (about 1 inch down from the top) and pull the ends through the loop to create a lark's head knot. Space these 4 knots evenly around the top edge.
- Gather all 8 ends (from the 4 knots) together. Tie them in a secure overhand knot about 6 inches above the top edge of the tube. Trim the ends to an even length.
- Insert your plant pot into the hanger. The gathered bottom will cradle the pot.
Finishing
Weave in all remaining ends. Block lightly if desired to even out stitches.
